Cheese Sampling, Daily Milking Demos, and More!
Billings Farm & Museum 69 Old River Road, Woodstock, VT, United StatesRegarded as one of the finest outdoor history museums in the country, Billings Farm will be offering cheese sampling in its lobby during Cheese Week, as well as daily milking demonstrations, farm house tours, and more. Great for families and groups! Billings Farm is proud to present three delicious varieties of cheeses, Butter, Woodstock Reserve and our award-winning Smoked Cheddar. Each is hand-crafted in small batches at the renowned Grafton Village Cheese Company in Grafton, Vermont. Drawing upon a 150-year tradition of dairy excellence, including our superior herd quality and high standards of care for our cows, Billings cheddar is made from 100% raw milk exclusively from the Billings herd of over 40 purebred, registered Jersey cows. Don't miss the Farmhouse Scoop Shop, offering Wilcox ice cream by the scoop, floats, specialty sundaes, and other treats. Billings Farm cheese is available for purchase. Snacks and beverages are also available to enjoy, with a beautiful view, from the adjacent slate terrace. Open daily, 10AM – 5PM with admission from $14-$23.

Sample Cabot 2025 1st Place Winners
It’s been a stellar 2025 for Cabot Creamery Cooperative at the United Stated Championship Cheese Contest and the American Cheese Society Competition with 14 First Place finishes for cheese, butter & cultured products! Come to either of our stores to sample some of the 31, combined, award winners. On most days, we also will be hosting another Vermont cheesemaker and/or a specialty food/drink producer for sampling (e.g., Parish Hill Creamery, Bridport Creamery, Billings Farm, Barn First Creamery).
