Join us at the Farm and site of the Cobb Hill Cheese facilities to learn about how Cedar Mountain Farm, Cobb Hill Cheese and Good Hands Creamery all function in concert with each other, the land and the animals to make raw milk aged cheeses that are truly of a place and reflective of good farming practices and holistic food principles.

We will welcome you to the Farm and site of the Cobb Hill Cheese facilities. Liz Bleakley, cheesemaker and owner of Good Hands Creamery, will discuss her path to making her own cheese and the trials and tribulations she experienced that have happily led to her current relationship with Cobb Hill Cheese and Cedar Mountain Farm. Lisa Marchetti, head cheesemaker at Cobb Hill Cheese, will discuss the development of her passion for raw milk cheese and about how she landed at Cobb Hill to take the reins of this established creamery. Lisa will also give a brief description of our cheesemaking and aging process.

You will enjoy a diverse cheese tasting and some refreshing beverages. The 4H kids will walk their calves out and you will meet the herd that produces our high quality raw milk. Kerry Gawalt and Stephen Leslie, owners of Cobb Hill Cheese and Cedar Mountain Farm, will share with you about the farm, animals and history of the land at Cobb Hill.
