The Victory Cheese Box program is launching across the northeast right now!
Victory Cheese is a movement to help sustain America’s artisan cheesemakers by uniting dairy farmers, cheesemakers, chefs, cheesemongers, and YOU – the cheese-loving public during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond. Each week chefs, mongers, and cheesemakers across the country will create and promote various Victory Cheese Boxes – all unique to each provider and all designed sell more delicious local cheese – in the end helping to sustain our makers who have otherwise faced sales losses of 30-80% due to the impacts of COVID-19.
Box creators will offer a range of cheeses and creative boxes – so keep an eye out for who is offering what! It’s a wonderful way to support your local makers! In addition, each of these boxes will give 10% to cheese and/or food organizations that their owners are getting behind – places that also need support at this time. Dedalus Wine Shop & Market (Burlington, VT)
is offering up box with a pairing of local V Smiley jam! You can buy this in the shop, order online for pickup, get it delivered to you (if you’re a local!), or get this shipped across the country to you. And their box will donate 15% of their profits to the Vermont Cheese Council as well (thank you!).

Jasper Hill Farm
is offering a shipped box of Vermont deliciousness – including cheeses made by Jasper Hill Farm as well as other makers from around the state, and they are donating 10% of their profits to the Vermont Cheese Council (thank you!!). They’ll be offering different boxes every week as we go forward – so do keep an eye on them.

Mad River Taste Place (Waitsfield)
in Waitsfield will be shipping boxes across the country as well – changing their cheese lineup every two weeks! And their box will donate 10% of their profits to the Vermont Cheese Council as well (thank you!).

For the serious cheese lover: 8 cheeses, over 3 1/2 pounds total, from across central and southern VT can be shipped right to you! 5% of their box revenues go to the VT Food Bank!
