Visit Cheese Producers with the Vermont Cheese Trail

Open daily.

With the Vermont Cheese Trail you can visit cheese producers’ farms, farmstands, and creameries around the state!  The listings share when cheese producers are open to the public; store hours; and if they offer any special events like cheesemaking viewing, animal visits, or tours regularly.

Join The Hunt!

THE 2024 HUNT is a scavenger hunt that breaks Vermont into 6 regions and offers you a mix of “clues” to complete in order to enter to win cheese! You can pick from visiting art galleries, hiking, biking, historic site visits, and much more! Our prize boxes usually include 3+ pounds of cheese, sent right to your door!

Cabot Creamery Cooperative Waterbury Store - Events All Week!

Available Tuesday – Saturday 11AM-5PM.

Demonstrations, specialty food pairings and samplings, and more will be held daily at the Cabot Creamery Store in Waterbury, Vermont! Visit our annex online and/or call it for schedule and details!

Blue Ledge Farm Picnics

Daily 9AM-6PM, available only during Cheese Week!

Join us for a cheese-y self-guided farm adventure! Begin at our farmstand where you can purchase an assortment of Addison County cheeses and products sourced from local farms (all with tasting notes and origin stories), crackers, accompaniments and beverages; We’ll supply blankets, baskets, and map of the farm with designated picnic spots (some close by, some a walk away), and then you hit the farm for a picnic adventure! Enjoy rare access to a working farm in a beautiful landscape and a vast assortment of delicious cheese to boot!  No reservations needed. Cost of the event is only the costs of the cheese and accompaniments purchased at the stand.

Special Instructions: Please part in driveway, referring to signs on arrival (picnic map will indicate preferred additional parking spots as well). We will provide bug spray in your picnic baskets should you need that. Please match your footwear to your chosen level of adventure (i.e. if you’re going in a field…maybe shoes that match the possible mud there!).
