The Vermont Cheese Council is a 501(c)(6) organization that conducts 501(c)(3) activities through its Education Fund, which is fiscally sponsored by the Tiny Seed Project, Inc. These activities include conferences, courses, or classes that educate cheesemakers, the general public, or both.

Our Education Fund is held separately from our operational accounts, and its revenue and expenses are tracked with dedicated account codes.

The Tiny Seed Project’s Mission is to empower community-led projects that conserve the environment, encourage creativity, and strengthen communities. They do this by providing nonprofit status and exceptional administrative support.
