It’s been a stellar 2025 for Cabot Creamery Cooperative at the United Stated Championship Cheese Contest and the American Cheese Society Competition with 14 First Place finishes for cheese, butter & cultured products! Come to either of our stores to sample some of the 31, combined, award winners.

On most days, we also will be hosting another Vermont cheesemaker and/or a specialty food/drink producer for sampling (e.g., Parish Hill Creamery, Bridport Creamery, Billings Farm, Barn First Creamery).

Featuring two different locations – be sure to review hours and addresses!

Meet a Cheesemaker at Woodstock Farmers Market

The Woodstock Farmers Market is proud to host some of our closest local cheese makers to sample their cheeses this fall to help us celebrate Vermont Cheese Week: Plymouth Artisan Cheese, Good Hands Creamery, and Cobb Hill. Come meet the makers in-person and hear about what makes their cheese so special. This event will be held outside in front of our Woodstock location in beautiful Vermont weather!

The Vermont Cheese Council represents cheesemakers throughout Vermont who are dedicated to the production and image of premier cheese. Our mission includes hosting educational events for the public and food professionals in order to learn more about the art and science of artisan and farmstead cheeses made in Vermont.
