Where does the story of our delicious farmstead cheddar cheese begin? Join us on a behind-the-scenes tour to uncover the sun to cheese story at Shelburne Farms! Includes cheesemaking viewing, guided tasting, meeting the herd, and more! (2:00-4:00pm daily, except Thursdays).

Join us on a tractor ride down the cow lanes to explore the Shelburne Farms Dairy. We’ll look for the milking herd out on pasture, visit the calf barn, and taste some Shelburne Farms cheddar.

Come to experience a flight of local cheeses. This tasting, held in honor of Vermont Cheese Week, will be led by our expert cheesemonger Beth Chevalier, CCP ACS. Featuring Parish Hill Creamery, Vermont Shepherd, Grafton Village Cheese, the very rare Northern Spy Farm Goat Song and more! Early registration is recommended to reserve your spot.

Kids Cooking Class: Paneer Butter Masala! As part of Vermont Cheese Week, in this cooking class, kids will turn milk into cheese! We will be making Paneer using local milk, and then creating a delicious tomato and cashew sauce to serve it in. Dietary restrictions are accommodated with advanced notice. All chefs must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Advance registration recommended!
