Guild Tavern is helping us celebrate Vermont Cheese Week by highlighting local cheesemakers with their wood-grilled entrees, craft cocktails, award winning wine list, and more.

While walk-ins are accepted, Cheese Week dining can get enthusiastic — reservations are never a bad idea!

With scenic views, picnic areas, and beach access, Red Rocks Park has something for everyone (10 min drive). You could also stop by local co-op City Market South End to prep a picnic or just refuel with locally made snacks and supplies. (Be sure to check out their curated cheese case while you’re there!) Or if you’re feeling more indoorsy, catch a show at Higher Ground (4 min drive).

Twenty minutes south is VCC member and cheesemaker Shelburne Farms, with cheesemaking viewing from 10am-4pm, as well as various tours and robust activities for families.
