THE STORY
We are grass farming in the hills of Goshen Vermont. Ice House Farm was started by Morgan & Chad Beckwith in 2016 with the goal of producing healthy delicious goat milk.
We began our adventure on rented farmland in Addison Vermont. The 18th century farmhouse property featured panoramic views, large dairy barns with slate roofs, and the original ice house. Working with the land and goats, the soil slowly started to get into our veins and bones. This is where we developed our passion for farming and producing healthy nutrient-dense food. We moved to Goshen in the fall of 2016 to expand our grass-fed goat herd and farm.
We are inspired by the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. We love experiencing the change in seasons and sharing them with you. Please follow us on our Instagram. Thank you for supporting our farm, goats, and mission!
The most common questions we receive are usually in regards to what we aren’t using on our farm.
We do NOT use any of the following on our property or in our farm inputs/feed:
- NO Pesticides
- NO Herbicides
- NO GMOs or Genetically Engineered Products
- NO Antibiotics

All of the feed and supplements we provide for our dairy goats and laying hens are free from those ingredients. The feed, minerals, and supplements we use are listed by OMRI for use in organic production.
