Our multi-course dinner will feature 10 different creameries from top to bottom of our brave little state\, from enduring icons like Jasper Hill and Cabot to hidden gems like Barn First and Parish Hill. \nThe Swiss dairy cows will be waiting for you as you park at the Farm Barn—and they are just the first treat! \nEnjoy a self-guided tour of the Farm Barn\, sipping on a welcome drink and first course straight from our pop-up kitchen before settling into our long tables for a family-style feast. \nWe’re pulling out all the stops to create our most epic cheese dinner yet — five courses of creativity highlighting the top produce\, veggies + VT proteins woven around the world-class cheese made in our Brave Little State. DESCRIPTION:Join us on a tractor ride down the cow lanes to explore the Shelburne Farms Dairy. We’ll look for the milking herd out on pasture\, visit the calf barn\, and taste some Shelburne Farms cheddar. \nCelebrate Cheese Week by thanking the cows\, dairy staff\, cheesemakers\, land\, and everyone involved in getting cheese to your table! \nRecommended for ages 4 and up with an accompanying adult. (Be sure to stop at lu•lus for some of their famous basil gelato!)\n\n\nIn addition to Shelburne Farms\, the Champlain Valley boasts Blue Ledge Farm (Leicester)\, with a self-serve farmstand and tours available if arranged in advance.\n\n\nLooking for Snacks and Supplies? City Market (South End\, Burlington; 15 min) or the Middlebury Co-Op (45 min) is a great place to find Vermont cheeses from local makers.

Join us on a behind-the-scenes tour to uncover the sun to cheese story at Shelburne Farms! \nWatch the cheesemakers in our Farm Barn cheesemaking facility craft our milk into cheddar. Enjoy a guided tasting of our cheddars\, then head to the dairy to meet our Brown Swiss cows and discover how we care for our landscape\, pastures\, and herd. \nAccessibility & Details: This tour will meet at the Farm Store & Welcome Center. You’ll be transported around our campus in an open-air wagon with steps to board.
